Welding Lead / Sr. Welder


Shift: 1st & 2nd shift 
Days: Monday-Friday
Hours:   7: 00AM-3: 00PM | 3: 00PM-11: 00PM
Starting Pay Range: $ 24-29 per hour Depending on Experience
Location:   Arvada, CO


JOB SUMMARY
A leading manufacturer of highly reliable and efficient centrifugal pumps and compressors for use in the oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical, power generation and water processing industries is seeking lead welders to join their team

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
     GTAW
     Achieve precision pipe fitting and tube bending
     Fit and assemble pipe and tubing along with large and small components
     Assemble complete equipment builds (unit and kit) according to engineered blueprints
     Run testing protocols on completed products and analyst test data
     Regularly communicate with the engineering team, customers, and quality inspectors
     Report regularly to management in a timely manner on all problems that arise in daily work such as machine problems, backlog, product status, tooling needs, etc.
     Assist other areas as needs arise


EXPERIENCE & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
     5-7 years of welding and fabrication experience preferred
     Mechanical background preferred 
     Ability to interpret and follow engineering blueprints and/or 3D models
     Adaptable, willing to take on other responsibilities and handle multiple tasks as needed
     Able to work well in a team environment
     Self-motivated, able to complete work assignments without supervision 
     Willing to work some weekends and holidays as needed
     Intermediate computer skill, including Microsoft Office system and MRP system
     Maintain a clean and organized work area, including preventative maintenance
     Follow company standards of safety and regulation in all work areas




SCREENING / TESTING:   All candidates must be willing and able to undergo and/or pass:
     Drug screen including THC
     Criminal background screen
