Job Description

Position: – MIG Welder

Shifts: 1st, 2nd

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 6:30am-2:30pm / 2:30pm – 11:30pm

Starting Pay Range: $23.00 to $28.00/hr.

Responsibilities: As a 6G Welder, you will:

  • Perform MIG welding with a focus on FCAW
  • Thrive in job-shop environments and demonstrate excellent time management skills
  • Interpret blueprints and weld symbols with precision
  • Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Apply your expertise in fabrication and welding

Requirements: All candidates must:

  • 6G welder preferred
  • Demonstrate experience in MIG welding, with a focus on FCAW
  • Have a background in job-shop environments and time management
  • Possess proficiency in reading blueprints and weld symbols
  • Showcase experience working collaboratively in a team
  • Have exposure to fabrication and welding processes

Pre-Employment Screening: Candidates must be able to pass:

  • Math Assessment Test
  • 2G/3G weld test: ½” plate test with backing bar, single V groove weld in 2G (horizontal) and 3G (vertical). The process is gas shielded flux core (FCAW)
  • 6G weld test, if 6G welder (FCAW, GTAW, and GMAW will be tested)
  • Drug screen, including THC
  • Criminal background screen
