Job Title: Warehouse Material Handler

Job Type: Full-time Contract to Hire

Location: Fort Worth Texas 

Pay Range: $18.00-$21.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Shift: 1st shift

Position Summary:

This company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Material Handler to join our team. As a crucial part of our logistics and supply chain operations, the ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling materials within our warehouse, ensuring accurate and timely distribution in support of our Department of Defense contracts.


1. Material Handling:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments.
- Safely and efficiently unload, move, and store materials within the warehouse.
- Utilize appropriate equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to transport materials.

2. Inventory Management:
- Perform regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor stock levels and report any discrepancies or shortages to the supervisor.
- Organize and maintain a well-organized and clean warehouse space.

3. Order Fulfillment:- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently based on established procedures.
- Prepare materials for shipment, including proper packaging and labeling.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure timely and secure delivery.

4. Quality Control:
- Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials.
- Report and quarantine any damaged or non-conforming items.

5. Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and submit to a UA (urine analysis) as part of the hiring process.
- Ensure compliance with all Department of Defense regulations and security protocols.


1. Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a Department of Defense or government contracting environment.

2. Skills:
- Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

3. Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to [insert weight]) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

4. Communication:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
