Leading manufacturing company located in Colorado Springs, CO which was established in 1940. This manufacturing company focusses its business on the production of components and systems in advanced materials patented by the same company and used in various industrial and medical applications. 
The Sales Engineer is a key part of the sales team for a technically complex product or service, embracing the technologies that the Getters and Dispensers. They often work in business-to-business sales, outfitting other companies with equipment and technology to improve their operations, optimize customer satisfaction and increase profits. Sales Engineers meet with sales leads and customers to discuss how their products can fulfill the consumer s technical needs.  
Position:   Technical Sales Engineer 
Shift: 1st shift
Days: Monday - Friday 
Hours: 8a-5p
Pay Range: $90k-$130k (Depending on experience)

Responsibilities include:  
  • Assemble data and compile reports to provide update on market trends, growth opportunities, and results of efforts.
  • Represent at various trade shows, conferences, and seminars.
  • Facilitate seamless transition of clients from prospect to customer by collaborating with other application engineers to ensure all needs are met.
  • Visit potential and established customers as needed to ensure satisfaction and find new opportunities.
  • Prepare and give technical presentations to explain to customers how the products and services work.
  • Work with the customers and Engineers to ensure the equipment meets the system requirements.
  • Communicate with the sales team to understand consumer demands and offer sales support where necessary.
  • Secure orders, guarantee product standards and assure product delivery.
  • Establish customer rapport and acceptance.
  • Plan for modifications to products to meet consumer demands.
  • Help clients to solve problems with product usage.
  • Recommend new and improved products to the customers and explain how the equipment will be more cost-effective.

  • Bachelor s Degree in chemistry, physics, or related field.
  • 5+ years experience in a technical sales position.
  • Proficient in excel, outlook, and other office products.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage internal and external relationships, background in 
  • Market research or analytics preferered
