Hours:  6: 00AM-6: 30PM
Starting Pay Range: $28-35

JOB SUMMARY
A leading manufacturer of highly reliable and efficient centrifugal pumps and compressors for use in the oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical, power generation and water processing industries is looking for a Sr. CNC Machinist

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversees and coordinates all day-to-day operational and support activities of the shop
• Provides technical guidance, expertise and leadership to all team members 
• Produces custom tooling and fixture design as needed for complex prototypes.
• Monitors safety issues as well as develops and implements new safety procedures as needs arise
• Operates standard and specialized equipment
• Works alongside engineers and other personnel regarding product information such as design, capacity and purpose, and types of materials to be used for fabrication.
• Analyzes written specifications, drawings, rough sketches, and oral instructions 
• Recommends changes or modifications for efficiency and adaptability to setup and production.

EXPERIENCE & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience preferred
• Ability to operate standard and specialized equipment to produce prototype parts
• Ability to perform standard shop computations.
• Skill in production of parts with extremely close tolerances
• Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments
• Ability to lift 35 pounds unassisted.
• Indoor office & factory environment. Sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting are common.

• Drug screen including THC
• Criminal background screen
