Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing, concrete carpentry, and concrete pouring, with 3 to 20 years of work experience in the field. As a Concrete Finisher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and durability of our concrete projects, from residential driveways to large-scale commercial structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites for concrete pouring by setting up forms, reinforcements, and expansion joints
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete using various tools and equipment
- Level, smooth, and shape concrete surfaces to achieve desired finish and texture
- Apply curing and sealing compounds to protect freshly poured concrete
- Perform concrete repair and restoration work on existing structures
- Operate and maintain concrete finishing tools and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to coordinate project timelines and workflows
- Train and mentor junior team members in concrete finishing techniques
