Machining Quality Inspector

Flexible Schedule (day shift: 5 x 8s, 4 x 10s, 3 x 12s)

Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of machined aerospace components
- Use precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and pin gauges
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Verify product compliance with customer and engineering specifications
- Record inspection results and maintain accurate documentation
- Identify and report nonconforming materials or parts
- Assist with first article, in-process, and final inspections
- Maintain organized inspection records and quality documentation
- Follow AS9100 quality standards and company procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
- Ability to read basic blueprints (preferred)
- Experience using measuring tools is a plus
- Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
- Strong computer skills and willingness to learn
