We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Lead to join our growing team in Longmont, CO! The ideal candidate will have experience in quality control inspection and assembly, with a focus on assemblies and cable harnesses, soldering, and aerospace experience. This position requires proficiency in IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards, as well as a strong background in leadership, assembly and soldering techniques.

Shift: 1st | Monday- Thursday 7 am- 4:30 pm, Fridays 7 am -12 pm

OT Schedule: Monday- Thursday, 6 am- 5:30 pm, Friday 6 am- 2 pm, Saturdays (not always but occasionally, 7 am- 12 pm)

Pay: $23-30/hr (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the aerospace assembly department, delegate tasks, and ensure deadlines are met
• Maintain professionalism and support the assembly team
• Assemble cable harnesses in a production setting
• Strip, crimp, and terminate wire, and perform soldering duties
• Verify that all components and materials meet required specifications and quality standards
• Document inspection results, maintain accurate records, and prepare detailed reports while using the ERP system
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and management

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience in a production setting
• Strong communication skills and ability to delegate tasks effectively
• 2+ years working with cable harnesses
• 2+ years of assembly and soldering experience
• Ability to strip, crimp, and terminate wire
• IPC-A-610 Certification preferred
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification preferred
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to ensure deadlines are met
• Ability to learn and navigate the ERP System
• Bilingual (English and Spanish preferred); must be fluent in English
