Position Overview



We are seeking an experienced and skilled Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of hands-on experience operating press brake machinery, with specific proficiency in Accupress equipment. This full-time position requires a detail-oriented professional who can consistently produce high-quality bent metal components while maintaining strict safety standards and production schedules.



As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake equipment to bend, form, and shape metal sheets and plates according to precise specifications. You will work closely with our production team to ensure that all manufactured parts meet quality standards and customer requirements while maximizing efficiency and minimizing waste.



Primary Responsibilities



Machine Operation and Setup



  • Set up and operate press brake machines, including Accupress systems, to bend and form metal sheets, plates, and structural components according to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, and job specifications to determine material requirements, dimensions, tolerances, and bending sequences
  • Select appropriate tooling, dies, and punches based on material type, thickness, and desired bend angles
  • Calculate bend allowances, setbacks, and material deductions to ensure accurate finished dimensions
  • Program and operate CNC press brake controls, including entering bend sequences, angles, and back gauge positions
  • Perform test bends and make necessary adjustments to achieve specified tolerances and quality standards


Quality Control and Inspection



  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, protractors, and angle gauges to verify conformance to specifications
  • Monitor production runs to ensure consistent quality throughout the manufacturing process
  • Identify and report any defects, material issues
