Lead Press Brake Operator

Pay: $28 – $38 per hour (DOE)

We’re looking for a skilled Lead Press Brake Operator to join a precision metal fabrication team that takes pride in quality, craftsmanship, and efficiency. This is a hands-on leadership role working with advanced Amada press brake equipment in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, program, and operate Amada press brakes with various controller types (NC9, Windows NT, AMNC 3i).

• Lead and train a small team of operators to maintain consistent production quality and throughput.

• Read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and shop orders.

• Perform tool setups, material changes, and quality checks according to specifications.

• Troubleshoot machine or tooling issues to minimize downtime.

• Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of press brake operation experience, including setup and programming.

• Strong working knowledge of Amada machines and controls (NC9, Windows NT, AMNC 3i required).

• Experience leading or mentoring other operators in a manufacturing setting.

• Ability to work independently and ensure efficient workflow.

• Excellent attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
