Job Overview



We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, proficiency in SolidWorks, and experience in production planning. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from concept to production, and make a significant impact on our company's growth and innovation.



Key Responsibilities



  • Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and products using SolidWorks and other CAD software
  • Create detailed 2D and 3D models, drawings, and specifications for manufacturing
  • Conduct engineering calculations and analysis to ensure product performance, reliability, and safety
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, industrial designers, and manufacturing specialists
  • Participate in all stages of product development, from concept generation to prototyping and final production
  • Develop and implement production plans, including process flow, tooling requirements, and quality control measures
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the design and manufacturing processes
  • Conduct research on new technologies, materials, and manufacturing techniques to improve product performance and reduce costs
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to team members
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing processes
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budget constraints
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and related fields


Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, product design, or related roles
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, with experience in 3D modeling, assembly, and 2D drafting
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience in production planning and familiarity with manufacturing techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
