We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Precision Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling precision mechanical components and a strong commitment to quality and accuracy. This position requires U.S. citizenship due to the nature of our work and the need for access to controlled technical information. A clean criminal background check is also required.

Pay: $25-$32/hour DOE

Hours: 1st shift Monday-Friday

Location: Westminster, CO

Responsibilities:

• Assemble precision mechanical components according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to perform assembly tasks.
• Inspect parts before assembly to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Perform functional testing and verification of assemblies to ensure proper operation.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Document assembly processes and maintain accurate records of production activities.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve assembly issues and improve processes.
• Adhere to production schedules and deadlines to meet customer requirements.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in mechanical assembly is preferred.
• Proven experience in precision mechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.
• U.S. citizenship required for DOD work..
