We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Precision Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling precision mechanical components and a strong commitment to quality and accuracy. This position requires U.S. citizenship due to the nature of our work and the need for access to controlled technical information. A clean criminal background check is also required.
Pay: $25-$32/hour DOE
Hours: 1st shift Monday-Friday
Location: Westminster, CO
Responsibilities:
- Assemble precision mechanical components according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to perform assembly tasks.
- Inspect parts before assembly to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform functional testing and verification of assemblies to ensure proper operation.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Document assembly processes and maintain accurate records of production activities.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve assembly issues and improve processes.
- Adhere to production schedules and deadlines to meet customer requirements.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in mechanical assembly is preferred.
- Proven experience in precision mechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.
