Field Operator

$20 - $30 an hour
Needs to be able to travel to job sites for up to 2 weeks at a time
4 x 12hr. Shifts all shifts will be rotating: 6am 6pm; 6pm 6am


We're looking to expand our team of ambitious operators, and forward-thinking humans! 


As a Field Operator you ll be on a team that will be responsible for operating one or more of our Pyrolyzing machines and equipment. You d be a great candidate for this role if you have experience in manufacturing, equipment management/maintenance, are an excellent communicator and a creative problem solver. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, proactive, mechanically confident and is able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks on a day-to-day basis. 


Responsibilities

• -  Operate, maintain and troubleshoot the any associated equipment while documenting your findings
• -  Serve as the eyes and ears of the operation, providing valuable insight when troubleshooting design and operational challenges
• -  Maintain a safe and clean job site, handling materials with the proper precautions, picking up tools & equipment when not in use
• -  Use machinery and powered equipment: forklift, personnel baskets, telehandler, etc.
• -  Record data about operations for measurement, reporting and verification

Requirements

• -  1 - 3 years of experience around heavy machinery and equipment
• -  Experience operating a forklift, telehandler, skid steer, tractor, other agricultural implements and/or willingness to learn
• -   Able to work autonomously and troubleshoot on the job
• -  Be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time and be able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl in awkward spaces
• -  There may be prolonged periods of standing and walking in any weather conditions
