Position Processor 

Shift: 1st Shift 

Compensation Range: $22-$26


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Process Technician to join our team. The Process Technician will specialize in metal polishing and finishing, working with various types of metals to achieve desired surface qualities. The primary responsibility of the Process Technician will be to perform metal polishing operations to ensure a high-quality finish on metal components. This position requires expertise in metal polishing techniques and the ability to operate specialized equipment.


Responsibilities:

  1. Set up and run Shear 
  2. Set up and run Press brake, manual, Accupress
  3. Set up and run Press brake CNC, Amada
  4. Set up and run Saw, band and cold
  5. Set up and run Roller
  6. Set up and run Iron Worker
  7. Material handling using fork lift, motorized overhead bridge crane & pallet jack
  8. Material tracking thru manual traveler and logging time via ERP system
  9. Material traceability paramount, cannot mix up heat/lot numbers

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Proven experience in metal polishing and finishing techniques.
  3. Proficiency in using various polishing tools, buffers, and equipment.
  4. Knowledge of different metal types and their specific polishing requirements.
  5. Understanding of polishing compounds, abrasives, and surface preparation techniques.
  6. Attention to detail and the ability to achieve consistent and high-quality finishes.
  7. Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  8. Ability to interpret engineering drawings or specifications related to surface finish requirements.
  9. Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  10. Willingness to learn and adapt to new polishing techniques and technologies.


*Must be able to pass extensive background check for government contract work*
