Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to support our production team by machining precision parts that meet engineering and customer specifications. This position plays a key role in ensuring product quality, equipment efficiency, and overall production success.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and other machining equipment (drills, mills, grinders, etc.) to perform a variety of operations.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering documents to determine machining requirements.

• Monitor CNC operations, make adjustments as needed, and maintain quality standards throughout production runs.

• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances.

• Perform routine maintenance and daily checks to ensure machinery is functioning properly.

• Work closely with the Production Manager to provide accurate timelines and progress updates.

• Identify and communicate any production or equipment issues that may impact delivery or quality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating CNC machinery, specifically lathes, required.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and precision measurements.

• Strong analytical, mathematical, and computer skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.

• Certificate or diploma in a related technical or engineering field preferred.

• High school diploma or GED required; some college or vocational training is a plus.

• Must successfully complete a background check, physical, drug screen, and E-Verify.
