We are looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to support our production team by machining precision parts that meet engineering and customer specifications. This position plays a key role in ensuring product quality, equipment efficiency, and overall production success.
Set up and operate CNC lathes and other machining equipment (drills, mills, grinders, etc.) to perform a variety of operations.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering documents to determine machining requirements.
Monitor CNC operations, make adjustments as needed, and maintain quality standards throughout production runs.
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances.
Perform routine maintenance and daily checks to ensure machinery is functioning properly.
Work closely with the Production Manager to provide accurate timelines and progress updates.
Identify and communicate any production or equipment issues that may impact delivery or quality.
Previous experience operating CNC machinery, specifically lathes, required.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and precision measurements.
Strong analytical, mathematical, and computer skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
Certificate or diploma in a related technical or engineering field preferred.
High school diploma or GED required; some college or vocational training is a plus.
Must successfully complete a background check, physical, drug screen, and E-Verify.
