Job Description


Position:

As a CNC Machinist/Programmer, you will play a crucial role in the production process, operating and programming CNC machines to fabricate precision tool bending components. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure the consistent production of high-quality parts that meet the required specifications.

Shift: Weekend Shift and 2nd shift

Hours: Friday through Sunday 6a-6p

Pay Range: $25-$34 per hour (Depending on Experience)

 

 

**Responsibilities:**

- Set up, operate, and program CNC machines to perform tool bending operations according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

- Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machine attachments to facilitate the machining process.

- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to review technical drawings and optimize machining processes for efficiency and accuracy.

- Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make adjustments as necessary.

- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations from standards, taking appropriate corrective actions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain smooth production operations.

- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.

 

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist/Programmer, with a strong understanding of CNC operation and programming principles.

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.

- Experience with CNC programming software (e.g., G-code, CAM software).

- Familiarity with various CNC machine types and their operation.

- Knowledge of tool bending processes and principles is an advantage.

- Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.

- Quality experience

- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

- Availability to work on the weekend shift as required.
