Field Service Technician – $30–$45/hr – Colorado (Denver → Fort Collins)
Full-Time | Travel 50%+ | Great Pay + Per Diem
Looking for a field role where every day is different? We’re searching for an experienced Field Service Technician to support industrial compressor systems across the U.S. If you’ve got strong mechanical instincts, solid troubleshooting skills, and you don’t mind hitting the road, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do
- Start up, service, and troubleshoot rotating machinery (screw & reciprocating compressors, electric motors, valves, instrumentation).
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on customer equipment.
- Complete repairs, maintenance, and field reports with accuracy and professionalism.
- Work directly with customers, often independently, sometimes in tough conditions or long hours.
- Communicate job updates, issues, and customer concerns to the team.
- Stay focused on safety and quality—always.
What You Bring
- 4+ years working with rotating machinery or heavy equipment (compressor experience is a big plus).
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Skilled with hand and power tools; has a basic tool set.
- Good driving record and ability to pass safety requirements.
- Physically able to lift 75 lbs, bend, squat, work overhead, etc.
Travel Expectations
- Must be comfortable traveling 50%+ across the U.S. (sometimes international).
- Company covers travel expenses + pays per diem based on location.
- Technicians handle their own travel arrangements under company guidelines.
