CNC Machinist Job Description
The CNC Machinist is responsible for operating CNC milling machines, lathes, and other machine tools to produce precision parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC programming and machining principles, as well as experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC milling machines, lathes, and other machine tools to produce precision parts
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Program CNC machines using CAM software
- Inspect parts for accuracy and quality
- Make adjustments to CNC programs as needed
- Maintain CNC machines and tooling
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in CNC Machining or related field
- 5+ years of experience operating CNC machines
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and machining principles
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
