Job Title: CNC 5-Axis Programmer 

Location: Englewood, CO

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: $30 – $45 per hour (DOE)

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled CNC 5-Axis Programmer to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will program, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC programs for 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machines, producing high-precision parts with tight tolerances. You’ll collaborate closely with machinists, engineers, and quality teams to ensure efficient production and outstanding results.

Responsibilities:

• Create, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC programs using CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Esprit, SolidWorks, etc.)

• Generate efficient toolpaths to meet quality and tolerance requirements

• Select, set up, and manage tooling for different jobs

• Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality inspectors to resolve production challenges

• Document CNC programs, tooling instructions, and revisions accurately

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize machining processes

• Train and mentor machinists on program interpretation and setups 

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering, or related field (preferred)

• 5+ years of CNC programming experience 

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and G-code/M-code

• Experience programming complex multi-axis machines, especially 5-axis mills

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

• Excellent communication skills and teamwork mindset
