What the job entails:
- Develop and implement project control strategies and policies
- Manage and lead project controls project execution including staffing, reporting, and change management.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
- Identify and mitigate project risks by implementing effective risk management strategies and monitoring risk factors.
- Ensure that projects adhere to all relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices and optimizing project management processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop project control teams.
Job Requirements:
- 10+ years experience in industrial project management and project controls, with a proven track record of successful project execution.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%-40% as needed per project requirements.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of project cost, earned value, CPM scheduling and detail planning, contract management concepts
