Position: AV Installer
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated AV Installer to join our team. The AV Installer will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting audiovisual (AV) equipment, including VTC and AV equipment, ensuring that all systems function correctly. This position also involves asset management, inventory control, and supporting meeting setups.
Key Responsibilities:
VTC Technician/Installer:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Video Teleconferencing (VTC) equipment.
- Ensure seamless communication and functionality of VTC systems.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to VTC equipment as needed.
- Install and set up various AV equipment, including monitors, projectors, projector screens, and associated wiring.
- Troubleshoot AV equipment issues and perform repairs as necessary.
- Ensure the proper functioning of AV systems in meeting rooms and other locations.
Asset Tag Management
- Maintain a record of Asset Tagged items and their locations.
- Submit forms for asset salvage approval when necessary.
- Collaborate with the relevant teams to ensure efficient asset management practices.
Inventory Control
- Manage AV equipment inventory, including tracking incoming and outgoing equipment.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and organization of AV equipment stock.
- Assist in maintaining an up-to-date inventory database.
- Assist in setting up meetings in various rooms, encompassing both video and audio conferences.
- Ensure that all AV equipment is functioning optimally for meetings.
- Provide technical support during meetings, resolving any AV-related issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or technical training a plus.
- Proven experience in AV installation and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of VTC equipment and systems.
- Familiarity with a wide range of AV equipment, including monitors, projectors, and screens.
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to adapt to evolving AV technologies and industry trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AV industry certifications (e.g., AVIXA CTS, CompTIA A/V, etc.).
- Previous experience with asset management and inventory control.
- Familiarity with various meeting software and platforms.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

This is a dynamic role that involves installing and maintaining AV equipment, supporting meetings, and managing assets and inventory. The AV Installer will play a vital role in ensuring that our AV systems and equipment are in optimal working condition, contributing to the seamless operation of our organization.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
