Job Description

We are a Heavy Civil construction company looking to build our team! Currently hiring an ACCOUNTS PAYABLE Specialist to assist our controller with day to day administrative tasks and manage AP responsibilities.  


Starting Pay range: $45-60k with opportunity for growth

What the job entails:

  • Data Entry of all company Payables, clarify any questionable invoice items.
  • Data Entry of Credit Card Transactions
  • Responsible for answering and directing all incoming telephone calls 
  • Maintain project files
  • Generate subcontracts and purchase agreements
  • Request and maintain certificates of insurance
  • General filing
  • Organize, maintain, and order office supplies
  • Ensure the office is maintained in a neat and professional manner
  • Distribute incoming mail
  • Troubleshoots office equipment problems and relays issues proper technician for resolution.


Requirements:

  • Experience in Accounts Payable
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Must be proficient in Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with Heavy & Highway Construction and CDOT or federally funded projects is a HUGE PLUS but not necessarily required for the right candidate.
